Roger Gambarini founded Abacus Office Equipment in 1975. When it was sold to an American company in 1994, it was the largest independent company of its kind in Wales. With his son Simon, Roger then then founded and grew Office Visions.

Roger has an admirable track record of charitable work and has supported many local charities in particular St David’s Hospice for whom he has raised in excess of  £275,000 via His annual golf days.

He is a past captain of Newport Golf Club and in 2015 was appointed  Captain of the Prestigious 2010 Ryder Cup Course  at The Celtic Manor , a position he was very proud to hold

After serving on the board  of Coleg Glan Hafren for a number of years he was appointed Chairman , a position he held for eight years . He has also served on the boards of Cardiff and the vale Enterprise Agency and Cardiff Marketing

He is also a property developer and has recently converted a former metal foundry into 35,000 square feet of prestigious office space. Roger has been a non-executive director of a number of Welsh companies, including Acorn Recruitment, of which he was a founding shareholder.
